Wet in Warsaw

Hello Warsaw
Warsaw has a proud history and I will agree that the uprising museum is spectacular. It may have been the weather but I did not enjoy the city at all, i found it dark and depressing. That was probably more the weather, the museums dedicated to the atrocities were great but the subject matter was very heavy.
There is just one part of the wall remaining of the Jewish ghetto, it is a sobering reminder of our inhumanity. It is not easy to find, but it is one that is often visited.
tomorrow we leave for Berlin, and I can't help but think that maybe a few more days would change my judgement of this city.

Travel Day

Travel Day, hmm not much else

Last good breakfast for a while, long travel day today to get to Warsaw. was broken up a bit by getting into a bus on the Polish border, they were working on the track so we had to get a bus to the next stop and board a train there. The worrying part was the conductor describing and using hand gestures to the bus driver. well it was a back roads adventures. Even though we arrived very late in Warsaw, we only had to wait a few minutes for the tram, and then walk half a block to the hotel. Easy.

Dinner was just down the road, perogies yumm.
